Elizabeth Mayhew is a contributing editor to NBC-TV’s “Today” show. She is a lifestyle expert who reports on home décor, organizing, entertaining and gift-giving. She has appeared on dozens of other television programs as well, including “The View” and “Dr. Phil.” In her magazine career, Mayhew spent eight years as an editor at House Beautiful before becoming editorial development director at Real Simple magazine. She also helped expand Real Simple into other media such as the internet, television and books. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Mayhew is a graduate of Georgetown University and now lives in New York City with her husband, Tim, and their two children, Madeleine and Charlie.
