Season 4: Episode 84: Where's Rudy?
Clair enters her squash in a contest at the mall, and Cliff is certain that she will take first prize. Theo, Vanessa and Rudy hope to go to a movie or do some shopping, but Cliff forces them to stay at the contest. Clair gives the kids permission to leave for a while, as long as they take Rudy along. Vanessa sees a boy that she likes working at a place that makes keys. She convinces Theo to have a key made so that she can come along and strike up a conversation. While they are talking to the boy, Rudy gets bored and wanders away. She runs into her friend Kim, who invites her into her father's sushi restaurant. Rudy insists that she isn't lost, but Mr. Ogawa takes her back to her parents. They give her permission to stay at the sushi bar. Theo and Vanessa cannot find Rudy, and finally come clean with a fuming Cliff and Clair. Clair's squash finishes second, as a really weird man takes the top prize after losing the contest for fourteen consecutive years.
