TURNER SPORTS
- Marc Fein will serve as studio host for TBS’s coverage of Big 12 and PAC-10 college football in 2006. He previously handled sideline reporting duties for the networks’ college football coverage in 2004.
- As the exclusive host for TBS's Atlanta Braves baseball studio show TBS Braves Xtra since its inception in 2004, Fein provides periodic updates and live cut-ins from around the league, as well as baseball fantasy tips during TBS's Major League Baseball coverage.
- Fein manned the Turner South studio for both the Atlanta Hawks (NBA) and the Atlanta Thrashers (NHL) during the 2005-06 season, as well as serving as sideline reporter on occasion during the network’s Atlanta Hawks coverage.
- Fein has served as a guest host on TNT’s Emmy-award winning Inside the NBA studio show during the 2005-06 season.
CAREER
- Prior to joining Turner Sports, Fein worked as a sports anchor, host and reporter for KDFW-TV (FOX) in Dallas, TX, covering all of Dallas' pro, college and high school teams. He also hosted a pre-game show for the Texas Rangers and Dallas Stars.
- Before joining KDFW, Fein worked at CNN and CNNSI where he conducted live interviews with coaches and athletes; provided updates during Atlanta Braves telecasts on TBS; and contributed a weekly column for CNNSI.com.
PERSONAL
- A native of Miami, Florida, Fein holds bachelors degrees in both broadcast journalism and theatre from the University of Miami.
- Marc currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Alpharetta, Georgia based Hopewell Youth Association, an organization formed to promote social welfare by providing a supervised program of competitive athletics for children in the metropolitan Atlanta community.
- Marc resides in Atlanta with his wife Nikki and four children: Ben, Jake, Haley and Nicholas
