Creating a Space for Kids

Expert Brian Patrick Flynn was kind enough to provide us with the following tips:

  • Mid-century modern is an excellent choice for your children’s play space. The retro appeal is timeless and is appreciated by kids of all ages.

  • Twin mattresses are a cost effective alternative when ample seating is needed. By simply pushing two twin mattresses together in an L-shape, you can create a lounge. Even if you hire a carpenter to build a base and backrest, the cost is minimal when compared to purchasing a new sofa.

  • Graphic art of your children is an excellent way to add personality to a room. When the kids outgrow their picture, it can become a family keepsake for generations to come.
