Denise Burse

Denise Burse's career spans three decades and is a gallery of distinctive characterizations. A native of Atlanta, she began her professional training around the city by performing at the Just Us Theatre, The Alliance Theatre and The Atlanta Children's Theater.

Burse's television credits include appearances on Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, The Sopranos and Third Watch. She has also been seen on the stage in such productions as An American Daughter, Harriet’s Return, Ground People and Pearl Cleage's Flyin' West. She was most recently seen as a cast member of Radio Gold, which is the last installment in the ten play cycle by August Wilson.
