David Boyd

Born the oldest of four boys, David began his love of carpentry at an early age. As with most curious young boys, David seemed to always try and "find out" how things were put together. As he grew older, that youthful energy was used both in athletics and carpentry, eventually landing David a football scholarship. David kept up honing his carpentry skills by working construction in the summers. After graduating, David took a job teaching ninth and tenth grade World History and Government before switching to a career in front of the camera. Before Movie & a Makeover, David hosted the challenge-based teen show "Boys vs. Girls" on The N and was the carpenter on Discovery Channel's "Surprise by Design."
