2. After drafting your profile, have a friend read it with two things in mind: Does this sound like me? Does it peak your interest?

3. Use the internet as another tool in your arsenal--not an excuse to curse off traditional ways of meeting new people. The argument for and against internet dating is exactly the same: you never know when and where you're going to meet your prince charming.
