1. What did you find most challenging about living on the island?
Being confined to a small space for an extended time.

2. Was there another castaway you just couldn't get along with?
I could get along with them all.

3. What was the wackiest moment on the island?
The confusion that descended on the set when Hurricane Ivan approached.

4. What would you have done with the money if you'd won?
Bought apartment buildings.

5. If you were really stranded on an island, without the support crew and the other castaways, what one item would you want to have with you?
My brain.

6. How has the show impacted your life and career?
It really has not changed my life at all. This disappointments me because I was hoping for some other opportunities to arise.

7. What do you think was the fatal error that cost you the game?
Not having a wife on the island to vote for me.

8. Be honest, do you really like coconut cream pie?
I am always honest. I said at the time I did not like the pie.

9. Besides winning, what one thing on the island do you wish you'd gotten to do before you left?
Competed in more physical and mental contests. I especially wish the winning Team Gold had some collective challenges to meet--we had talent!

Ginger!

11. Which fellow castaway best matched their counterpart from the original series? Why?
Gilligan Chris. He is an honest and genuine human being who would like to help and please everyone.

12. What did you most enjoy about the experience of being on the show?
The total experience including the application tryouts, being on-site in Quintana Roo, and the great publicity events.

13. What one thing would you like viewers to know about you that they couldn't get just from watching the show?
That the contestants were all quite accurately represented.

14. What are you doing now that the show is over?
I'm back to lecturing on cruise ships, writing books, doing TV news interviews, and teaching.

15. Which castaway (from either season) do you think will be the most fun to watch (keep track of?)?
The youngest participants because appearing in the show is likely to have the most impact upon the courses of their lives.

16. What type of personality or character has the best opportunity to win Season Two?
I don't know how the rules will change, but, unfortunately, alliance forming still seems to be the key.

17. What advice would you give your Season Two counterparts?
Be true to yourselves.

18. Who do you think would win in an island face-off, the Season One or Season Two castaways?
I had great confidence in the abilities of the Season 1 Team Gold. We would win!

19. What would you like to see more of in Season Two that didn't get shown enough in Season One?
More contests.
