1. What did you find most challenging about living on the island?
Being away from my children!

2. Was there another castaway you just couldn't get along with?
Actually, I really enjoyed them all. Everyone had a unique story. Mrs. Beavins was certainly a challenge to be around, yet I couldn't wait to hear what came out of her mouth next.

3. What was the wackiest moment on the island?
Gooner's hairy ass scared the heck out of me, but Mrs. Beavin's comments about snakes topped them all.

4. What did you do with the money you won?
We gave the money to our charity, The Stearns Family Charitable Foundation, which is an organization that we formed to assist troubled youth to reach their full potential.

5. If you were really stranded on an island, without the support crew and the other castaways, what one item would you want to have with you?
Well, my wife would probably want a mattress! I would settle for a knife or something practical.

6. How has the show impacted your life and career?
It taught me a lot about my marriage and how strong it is. I am truly lucky and under pressure we did great, and I'm proud of that.

7. What do you think was your key to victory?
Thinking ahead, keeping everyone on a level playing field by playing an honest game. I never focused on the prize, I just enjoyed the ride.

8. Be honest, do you really like coconut cream pie?
No thank you! But by then I was so hungry I would have eaten live worms. Oh wait, I did!

9. Besides winning, what one thing on the island do you wish you'd gotten to do before you left?
I wish I could have had one last night with the castaways and crew. We had so much fun and really bonded with quite a few people. I just wished we could have had one more night together without any competition.

10. Ginger or Mary Ann?
Hello!! Mrs. Stearns! She has all those girls beat!! I will say that on a personal note, I really enjoyed getting to know Rachel Hunter and Mary Ann Kate. Rachel has had quite a life and accomplished many things. She revealed a soft side that I didn't expect, and she was a true competitor. And Mary Ann Kate is a remarkable young woman. She is loyal, honest and is far ahead of her years in wisdom.

11. Which fellow castaway best matched their counterpart from the original series? Why?
I would say Gooner! He is the real Gilligan.

12. What did you most enjoy about the experience of being on the show?
I loved the challenge. My heart was pounding at every Voo Doo Village ceremony, because I knew that I had the greatest chance of being voted off next.

13. What one thing would you like viewers to know about you that they couldn't get just from watching the show?
I think the viewers saw all of me, I'm an open book. I really couldn't hide, could I? I will say one thing; the only times I have ever worn an ascot were at my wedding and on Gilligan's Island.

14. What are you doing now that the show is over?
I am back to work (www.stearns.com). I continue to look for new ways to challenge myself, and build new business opportunities. Not to mention, I am forming alliances all over the place! Believe me, it works. I continue to have the time of my life being a father to my children. My family continues to grow as my daughter has blessed us with a granddaughter. And Mindy and I are expecting our first child together in the fall.

15. Which castaway (from either season) do you think will be the most fun to watch (keep track of?)?
The movie stars are always fun to look at... I mean watch.

16. What type of personality or character has the best opportunity to win Season Two?
I would say the Millionaire. I'm not saying that it's fair, however, we negotiate and make deals for a living. And if they have any of the competitiveness that I have, they will also drive their wives nuts with constant strategizing.

17. What advice would you give your Season Two counterparts?
I would tell the castaways to vote off the Millionaire and the Actress first.

18. Who do you think would win in an island face-off, the Season One or Season Two castaways?
Season One Team Gold!! If our Skipper had not fallen, we would have swept the island.

19. What would you like to see more of in Season Two that didn't get shown enough in Season One?
Perhaps more humor and a little less drama. There were so many funny moments that didn't make air. Did you know that my wife and I christened the Minnow? It is now known as "The Love Boat."
