Emmy Award-winning host Tony Frassrand has hosted and anchored a variety of television shows including reality shows, documentaries, newscasts and many educational programs geared towards children. Most recently, he hosted HGTV's House Detectives, a home improvement series, and Pet Palaces, about people who modify their homes to accommodate their pets.

Frassrand has covered live news and events such as hosting Nike TV, an event during the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics for Nike-sponsored athletes; hosting Artist Direct: LIVE; serving as anchor, correspondent, writer and producer for Emmy-winning news programs on CNN; breaking national news stories for Headline News; reporting on teen issues from cities around the country for CNN's On the Road; reporting live with NASCAR for Rockets on Wheels; and hosting In the Shadow of the Space Shuttle, a live show about endangered species from the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge in Florida. He hosted Earth Matters, Science in the Rainforest, Calculations on a Curveball and Migration to America for TBS.

Frassrand has won numerous awards for his work on various educational projects for schools nationwide. He has also covered live town meetings on C-SPAN where students vote for the US president.
