Saved by the Bell - Elizabeth Berkley

Elizabeth Berkley was born Farmington Hills, Michigan on July 28, 1972. She made her screen debut in the 1987 television film Frog. After working as an extra, Berkley landed the role of Jessie Spano on Saved by the Bell. She was a regular cast member for four years, and then left the show to break into film. Berkley broke out of her good girl persona in 1994's Showgirls. After the film concluded, she attended UCLA and received a degree in English literature. In 2004, Berkley left the big screen for awhile and made her Broadway debut in Sly Fox where she impressed many critics. She must have caught an on-stage bug, because soon after Sly Fox, Elizabeth performed in the Off-Broadway production Hurlyburly starring Ethan Hawke. Berkley continues to make guest appearances and star in a variety of independent films.
