Kathryn Fiore

Daughter of actor Bill Fiore, Kathryn "Kat" Fiore grew up on sets. Her father says he knew she was destined to be an actress when, at age 7, she grabbed a script he was reading, took one look at it and said, "I can do this."

Born and raised in New York City, Fiore has been acting professionally since, at the age of 16, she starred in the Broadway production of William Inge's Picnic. While attending Columbia University as a Latin major with a 4.0 GPA, she came to Los Angeles for spring break and wound up getting cast in Imagine Entertainment pilot Student Affairs. She began taking Latin courses at UCLA towards her Columbia degree and has lived in L.A. ever since.

Fiore was a regular on FOX's MADtv and has had recurring roles on Lifetime's Strong Medicine, ABC's Jake in Progress, The WB's Charmed, Comedy Central's Reno 911, E! Entertainment's Star Stories, TBS's Glory Daze and Disney's Good Luck Charlie. Some of her film work includes Mission: Impossible III, Reno 911: Miami, The Hottie and the Nottie, The Game Plan and the cult horror hit, Hatchet II.

Following in the footsteps of her parents, who had a popular comedy act in the '60s and '70s and appeared on everything from The Ed Sullivan Show to The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson), Fiore also wrote a very popular one-woman show, There Will Be Penetration. The show, directed by Andy Fickman of The Game Plan, opened to rave reviews at the Coronet Theater.

As for her current projects, Fiore just wrapped the lead role in the indie feature Tick Tock. She lives in West Hollywood with her husband, Gabriel Tigerman, and their Scottish Terrier, Lily. And she spends her free time reading Latin poetry, baking pies and watching The Golden Girls.
