Currently, Lilliana is the style correspondent for NBC Philadelphia and a host on morning show, "Better Philly." She's also a reporter for LX New York and LX 1st Look on NBC where she covers red carpet events, movie premieres, concerts, fashion shows, gallery openings and regularly interviews celebrity actors, musicians, designers and directors. She also serves as a national spokesperson for numerous fashion and beauty brands.
Born in Dallas, Texas to Mexican and Puerto Rican parents, Lilliana, a native Spanish speaker, started her career in television at the age of 10, securing spots in several national print ads and commercials. As a student at George Washington University she worked as an entertainment reporter for WRGW and then went on to work for NPR in Washington, DC before moving to New York.
A competitive position at W Magazine provided Lilliana with an insider's knowledge of the fashion world. Inspired by the designers she met and worked with, Lilliana launched Applestar, a youthful and hip line of accessories, belts, and handbags. Within a year the collection was picked up by high-end boutiques such as Neiman Marcus Cusp and Nordstroms, establishing Vazquez as an up-and-coming designer and launching her as a fashion industry expert.
