Scotland’s Danny Bhoy has made annual appearances at all the major comedy festivals around the world. He has appeared at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival four times; in 2005, he received rave reviews for his outstanding set on the televised Gala, leading the Montreal Gazette to describe him as “the standout hit of the Festival.” He was nominated for a Gemini Award for Best Individual Comedy Performance that year. He returned to Montreal in 2007 for the rare accolade of performing a 10-night solo run, which completely sold out. Bhoy continues to break box office records worldwide and, in the past two years, he has completed a sold-out tour of Australia and New Zealand, a triumphant return to his home town of Edinburgh at the Fringe Festival, followed by a critically acclaimed UK tour, a national tour of Canada, and performances at The Las Vegas Comedy Festival. He is also the first stand-up comedian to do English-speaking shows in India. Now he adds Chicago to his international repertoire… and thankfully, he will do English-speaking shows here too!
