Holley Grainger

Holley Grainger, M.S., R.D is the Food Editor of MyRecipes.com, the Time Inc. Lifestyle Group’s food and recipes portal.

Launched in May 2007, MyRecipes.com is home to more than 33,000 professionally, kitchen-tested recipes and is the one-stop source for finding recipes, step-by-step instructions, how-to videos, healthy cuisine, and entertaining tips. The site’s wealth of recipes are drawn from the company’s established brands, including Southern Living, Cooking Light, Real Simple and Health.

As food editor, Holley is responsible for the site’s “Healthy Diet” channel as well as other feature stories. She is also a host of the “Dinner Tonight” daily video series featuring quick meals that can be prepared in 45 minutes or less.

Prior to her role at MyRecipes.com, Holley was Associate Food Editor of Southern Living magazine, where she wrote the “Healthy Food” column, the “Healthy Living” special section, and other feature stories.

Holley began her career at Southern Progress Corporation’s Oxmoor House as an Assistant Food Editor editing cookbooks such as The Best of Cooking Light, Weight Watcher’s Annual Recipes for Success 2003, 2004 and 2005, and Weight Watcher’s Shortcut Cookbook.

Holley has a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition as well as a Master of Science in Human Nutrition, both from The University of Alabama. She is a Registered Dietitian, having completed her dietetic internship at the Medical University of South Carolina. She has appeared on many national and local broadcasts including the NBC’s Today Show and Weekend Today, CBS’s The Early Show, Fox News Channel, and others.

Holley currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama.
