Subira Shaw

Subira Shaw has been Deputy Chief of Reporters for In Style since July 2005. Shaw is responsible for helping to oversee editorial research for In Style and manages the fact-checking department.

In this role, Shaw also ensures factual accuracy of stories on beauty, fashion, celebrity, and lifestyle topics and serves as a spokesperson for various In Style media appearances.

Prior to this position, Shaw had been a freelance researcher for CosmoGirl! in New York City and a freelance writer for WWD in both New York City and Atlanta.

Shaw graduated cum laude from Spelman College with a B.A. in English in May 1999. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
