Expert Brian Patrick Flynn has been kind enough to share tips on kitchen makeovers:
If you have a lot of hand-me-down or flea market pieces that do not necessarily go together, you can unify them all for a sophisticated look by painting them all the same color.
Drop down acoustical ceilings are pretty dated and not too pretty. If you don't have the option to replace one with drywall, a great idea to is invest in decorative acoustical tiles. Once they are installed, they will make the ceiling look like a vintage work of art.
If you are decorating a commercial space that serves food, keep in mind you need to have all of your textiles treated with flame retardant spray to pass code.
