" See Spot Run" Dogs Eat Dogs

Worried that your prized pooch isn't getting the nutrition he needs? Never fear, Chef Claud is here!

You will need:

  • 2 lbs. lean beef, chicken or lamb, fully cooked and chopped fine
  • 4 cups cottage cheese
  • 14 cups fully cooked brown rice, potato or rolled oats
  • 7 cups assorted cooked vegetables, i.e. carrots, peas, broccoli, squash, sweet potato, green beans, blanched and chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup flaxseed oil
  • 5 tbsp. bone meal
  • 3 tbsp. very finely chopped garlic
  • 7 dog daily multi vitamins, ground fine
  • 4 feet sausage casings
  • 1 dog-eared copy "Dog Party" by Dr. Seuss

  1. Combine all ingredients and mix well. (If not making dogs, skip steps 2-4 and serve as-is.)
  2. Transfer mixture to a piping bag fitted with a plain, wide tip
  3. Rinse the sausage casing in cold water and tie a knot in one end. Slide the open end of the sausage casing over the tip of the pastry bag, then slowly and carefully squeeze the mixture into the casing.
  4. Tie the open end closed with a piece of butchers twine. Begin creating links by twisting every 6-7 inches and tying into links with small pieces of kitchen twine.
  5. Refrigerate or freeze until use.
  6. If anyone mentions the mess in the kitchen, roll over and play dead.

Makes 7 days of feedings for a 25-30 lbs. dog
