She’s an avid watcher of sitcoms, loves writing and makes a mean broccoli and cheese cornbread casserole. But, don’t even think of asking her for the recipe!



Out With A BANG!

Poor, poor Calvin! I just can’t get over the fact that he had the world in the palm of his hands and let it all slip away. What’s a man to do? His parents moved in with him after a cheap contractor damaged their house, but Calvin took in Pops and Ella into his newlywed household. Nice, right? He got a great job and was living a nice quiet life. But what happened? TEMPTATION!

Calvin messed up, BIG TIME. When Mercedes kissed him a while back, it should have ended there. But somehow, they kissed again and big brother Diego saw it! We all know Diego is a little unstable and “don’t play that”. He stormed into Calvin’s house with Miranda, Mercedes, Pops and Ella inside and let them all know what was going on. Miranda flipped of course, and put Calvin out of the house. Later, Ella and Pops argue and Pops and Calvin take refuge in the barbershop.

Somehow, Calvin seems to make things right – for awhile. Pops, too is back with Ella and Calvin gives them the money to move back home. Calvin and Miranda go to the Doctor’s office and they meet up with Calvin’s ex Tracey who is toting around “Calvin Jr.”! Tracey explains that she didn’t want to tell Calvin about his son and feels sorry for Miranda because she actually married him. Diego gives Calvin the bright idea (yes, they make up, too) to get all the women in a room and talk to them. It ends in disaster as Mercedes says Calvin is part blame for their flirting, Tracey tells Calvin that she doesn’t need ANYTHING from him, not even child support, and Miranda is just disgusted and leaves Calvin begging on his knees. Later we find out the reason Miranda had to go to the Doctor’s office in the first place. Yup, she’s pregnant and Calvin is suddenly a father of two, all in the same week. Oh, the DRAMA! And that’s how it ends…for now.

As always you can catch up on your favorite episodes of House of Payne, each and every Wednesday. Hopefully, we won’t be left hanging too long so we can see Calvin clean up this mess. The saga continues on TBS!
