After a successful stint writing and producing national TV spots for Chevrolet and Butterfingers in Detroit and New York, Robert Hickey came to Los Angeles to pursue a childhood dream of producing in Hollywood. He founded Shadowland Films, an independent production company that develops and finances feature films and television shows.

Hickey’s credits include serving as writer and producer on the award-winning mockumentary Memron and as executive producer and writer on the Fox pilot Take Me to Your Leader. In addition, Hickey has produced 12 shorts and the feature horror film The Storyteller for Supernova LLC.

Hickey studied film and business administration at the University of Michigan and holds a masters in film and television from the University of Southern California.
