Cleveland rocks and Drew Carey knows it. His hometown is the setting for The Drew Carey Show, and it's where he got his start in comedy in the mid-'80s. The legend goes that Drew took a book out of the library on how to tell jokes and…well, the rest is history.
From the stand-up clubs around Cleveland, Drew headed to Hollywood via Star Search and his big break on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson (yes, Johnny invited Drew to chat for a bit on the couch!). After a slew of successful cable specials, "The Drew Carey Show," and "Whose Line Is It Anyway?," Drew's at the top of the comedy heap. But his heart is still in Cleveland - where he still lives.
