TBS Superstation continues to take home improvement to a new level with a brand new season of the fix-it hit,
The Man Made Movie. Every Tuesday night,
The Man Made Movie features hit movies combined with hosted segments demonstrating improvements that can turn any home into the ultimate abode. After two long years of hard work, the weekly showcase took a typical lake house in Atlanta and created the ultimate guy house. Now, TBS Superstation is heading to Seattle, where the team will renovate the coolest hangout for family and friends.
Hosted by Chad Taylor, the show will use breaks in the movie each week to show you how to bring any home up to "cool code." The recently completed Atlanta Man Made Movie house is more than 4,600 square feet and includes such "luxuries" as fire poles between floors; a par-three golf hole; a Basketball Court; a giant roof-top hot tub with a specially mounted television; and a classic western-style saloon. A pneumatic beer dispenser, an indoor and outdoor grill and an enormous living room equipped with a big screen television and a variety of bar games, including billiards, darts, foosball and air hockey, are also included in the house.
Unlike the Lake Alatoona house from the first two seasons--which was built from the ground up--the Seattle House is already a historic landmark. Chad and the crew will help bring this 1913 Craftsman house back to its original glory after years of neglect. Helping to restore this home is construction expert Jodi Marks, who will also demonstrate how to make the home more "female friendly" than its predecessor. In addition, viewers will get the chance to see many of Seattle's memorable landmarks as we travel around the city to such places of interest as the Space Needle, Pike's Market or one of Seattle's many coffee shops.
