The two-part series finale comes to a close when Hilary and Ashley move to New York, Hilary for her talk show and Ashley for her ad role and her education. Carlton is going to Princeton, and Philip, Vivian, and Nicky are moving out east. After Will can't find an apartment, he confesses that he lied and that he needs help.
