Perfecting Church, Detroit, MI
I attend Perfecting Church in Detroit, MI. This church is a light in my life. I believe my church deserves to win because they are winners in the eyes of so many lives they've changed. Perfecting is in the process of building not only a church but a community. In this age our church has become a safety ground for families. As a young adult Perfecting has been a safe haven for me and the community, providing a care center, homeless shelter and support. These funds will assist us in building a new edifice not only for the members but the diverse community that surrounds it. Perfecting gives over and beyond, they are there during the tough times, city black-outs and holidays, it's a church "Where Ministry Means People.".

Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greenville, TN
I can not believe that I came across this contest at a time where my church is in such need! This win would
be a blessing for this little country church and help us to keep the doors open. Salem Evangelical
Lutheran Church is located in the Parrottsville Community of Cocke County in East Tennessee. This lovely historic church was established September 8th, 1845. This beautiful church stands on a hill out in the country surrounded by farms and woodland. The church council has identified many needs for Salem Church.
A handicap bathroom is needed. A sound system is also needed as we have many hearing impared elderly members. The church kitchen needs renovating to support the many community and church projects. Our sancuntary needs cracks repaired in the walls and also needs repainting. The parsonage needs renovating. A loose toumbstone fell on a toddler and hurt her by falling on her legs. She was in a cast for months. If the toumbstone had fallen on her head, it would have killed her. The toumbstones in the grave yard need to be repaired. The Sunday School classrooms, church office and secretaries office needs painting and additional storage. Please help us! Thanks!

Williams Chapel, Apex, NC
Greetings in Jesus Name! When I saw this opportunity for a chance to win $25,000 dollars, I new it was the (fate) blessing our church had been praying for! It’s the same amount it takes to purchase a heating and
air (HVAC)unit for our new building.
After loosing our church in a tragic fire February 23, 2003, we’ve been in desperate need of help to resurrect the history, heritage and legacies of so many past members. To not be able to would be an even greater loss. Our prayer is to continue being a ministry and refuge in the community it thrived in for so
many years. Williams Chapel was the oldest (over 100 years) black church recorded in the town books of
Angier, NC.
Currently we have a new building and partial infrastructure. We cannot continue the reconstruction until
we purchase and install a loft HVAC unit with proper ductwork and ventilation. The $25,000 offering would
allow us to make that purchase. Until then, we cannot resume the final phase of installing the ceiling, additional wiring, painting, lights, furniture, etc.
We lost everything except our faith and one bible. Please help us.

Faith Crusades Ministries, Montgomery, AL
I am writing on behalf Faith Crusades Ministries in Montgomery, Alabama. This is a "A Church Without Walls"
that ministers to the homeless, the working poor, provides shelter for at risk youth and counseling for
men and women in need. Faith Crusades provides aftercare for ex-offenders and shelter for anyone in need
of a hand up.
This ministry is in need of support simply because the members can not afford to give tithe and offering!
This church is dear to my heart simply because they operate by Faith. Receiving No government funding or grants. Every day people are being set free from all forms of addictions and strongholds.
Fema has given Faith Crusades an opportunity to 1 aquire 16 trailers to provide permanet housing the
homeless and working poor. The church could use $25,000 to purchase materials needed to complete the
housing site and transition process.
Please consider giving to this church. Your donation will help alot of people in need of a little Faith. wwww.faithcrusades.org

Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Fayetteville, GA
Mt. Olive has been in existence for 141 years. It began as a one-room shack emanating from the days of slavery. The original facility served as the school, church and the center of the African American
community. The current church is trying to build on this legacy by constructing a new facility that will
give it the capacity to be a beacon light in the Fayetteville Community and provide enrichment program to students, elementary thru high school. We broke ground on the construction of the new facility in
September of 2006. Several construction related setbacks have occurred that has challenged both resources
and patience. However, we believe the word of God - "Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain
that build it...." Psalms 127.1. We are the first African American Church in Fayetteville that has
approached such an ambitious undertaking in the 21st century. The time is right, the purpose is just and righteousness shall prevail against every obstacle. This contest is an opportunity for God to "show up
and show out" God bless you Tyler Perry and the TBS Family for this opportunity.
