Steve Martin reprises the role once held by Spencer Tracy in the 1950 film. George and Nina Banks (Martin and Keaton) are in the eye of the storm as their 22-year-old daughter (Williams) prepares to get married. Dad has a hard time enjoying any of it as he wrestles with the preparations and the thought of losing his daughter. Martin Short is brilliant and riotous as the manic wedding planner Franck Eggelhoffer.
